Music:PRESIDENT OBAMA IS OUR ONLY HOPE FOR THE J. COLE AND KENDRICK LAMAR COLLAB ALBUM

Listen, this whole J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar joint album probably isn’t going to happen, but that doesn’t mean we have to give up all hope. And if there’s anyone who could breathe real and renewed life into what’s become a rap fandom pipe dream, I venture to say that it’s President Barack Obama.

The president will have the opportunity to make the case for why the world needs this musical collaboration on March 11, when he’ll be at an event put on by the Democratic National Committee in Austin, where Jermaine will be the musical guest.

Could there be a better time to bring it up, Mr. President? Or a more proper use of your executive powers?
I think not.
Obama has already met Kendrick, whose “How Much a Dollar Cost?” was his favorite song of 2015, and we can only hope that he talked about this potential album when they spent their time together. That, combined with his upcoming badgering of Cole at this event, combined with the inevitable executive order, and I think we’ll be in business.

Tickets for the event are available now, and can be yours for anywhere between $250 and $33,400, depending how generous you’re feeling.
