WhatsApp To Terminate Support for Blackberry, Windows and Symbian Devices
Whats App has announced that it will terminate support for BlackBerry, Nokia S40, Nokia Symbian S60, Android 2.1 and Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7.1 by the end of this year.
In a blog post, WhatsApp stated that the market covers 99% Android, iOS, Windows Phone 8 and later version devices. The company said that they have to give first priority to the mobile platforms that majority of people use. The company further stated that it will terminate support for WhatsApp on the selected mobile platforms (As Mentioned Above).

The Washington Post states that the girl studying in Sidney Lanier Middle School in Fairfax had reportedly posted a message in December which consisted the words “Killing, “meet me in the library Tuesday”.
The search warrant stated that this started on December 14, when Resource Officer at Sidney Lanier Middle School was informed about the threatening post made by the student.
Later, the officer started questioning the students and started the work to get the IP Address of the user who posted the controversial message. However, the name of the student wasn’t disclosed as she was juvenile accused of crimes.
The Search Warrant also says that the girl has confessed to the authorities that she used the name of other student in posting the controversial message on Instagram. She was charged with “Threatening the School” and “Computer Harassment”. Spokesperson for Fairfax County School said that this threat was considered “Not Credible”.
The accused girl had to visit Juvenile Court of the charges at the end of the month. However, Washington Times states that it is unsure whether the case has been solved or not as the court hearings are not open to the General Public.
The mother of the accused girl said that she posted this message in answer to being harassed at the school.

There are about 2.6 billion smartphone users across the world and is expected to cross 6 Billion mark by 2020. However, in apps advertisements inside apps can put users data at risk, according to new study. A new study has found that in app advertisement can disclose user’s information between ad networks and mobile app developers.
The study was carried by researchers from Georgia Institute of Technology in United States, this research is based on more than 200 users who used custom apps in Android Devices.
Researchers analysed the authenticity of customized ads that were presented in order test the subjects by following their personal interest and demographic profiles. They also analysed that to how extent mobile app maker could expose the data about users as customized ads were presented to them.
Researchers discovered that 73 percent of ad impressions for 92 percent of users are properly oriented with their respective demographic profiles.
Researchers also discovered that app developers could determine the user’s gender, with exactness of 75 percent, 66 percent exactness of their parental status and 54 percent exactness of users age. Moreover, they can also guess the users income, martial status or political links with more exactness.
Also, some personal data is considered so sensitive, such that Google positively mentions that those factors are not used for “Personalisation”. Additionally, study has discovered that mobile app developers can determine this information due to data leakage between Ad Networks and App Developers.
Wei Meng from Georgia Institute of Technology said that “Free smart phone apps are not really free. Apps – especially malicious apps – can be used to collect potentially sensitive information about someone simply by hosting ads in the app and observing what is received by a user. Mobile, personalised in-app ads absolutely present a new privacy threat,”.
Researchers further said that App developers prefer to accept “In App Ads” in their app. AD networks pay money to the app developers to show their ads and track users activity like gathering apps that the user has installed, geographical locations and the mobile model etc.
Also “In App Ads” showcased unencrypted as section of the Apps Graphical User Interface, which means app developers can acquire ad content targeted at specific location displayed in their app and then makes a profile of their app users.

“It’s fantastic,” said Kamelia Cohen, a 26-year-old pre-med student who recently bought Apple shares. Chuck Savadelis, a 65-year-old photographer who has owned Apple stock for years, said, “I don’t think of it as an investor” but as a US citizen. “I admire the company,” said Lynda Gousha, a business consultant from San Jose.
Added the Rev Jesse Jackson, an Apple stock owner for 15 years: “Where we stand in controversy is a measure of our character.”
Apple investors large and small, including Jackson, gathered on the morning of 26 February for the company’s annual shareholder meeting. Normally, the agenda at these types of gathering is pretty dry: sales in emerging markets, executive compensation and stock buybacks.
But this year is different. America’s largest company is 10 days into a public standoff with the US Justice Department over whether a court can force it to rewrite iPhone code to make it easier for the government to crack the passcode of San Bernardino gunman Syed Farook.
Apple’s lawyers argue the federal court order violates the firm’s free speech rights and would set a precedent that allows the government to ask any tech firm to reengineer its products for any investigation. The government argues Apple is required to help the execution of US law if it is technically possible, which, Apple acknowledges, it is in this case.
During a chat with investors inside a black auditorium on Apple’s campus, chief executive Tim Cook, dressed in jeans and a denim shirt, tried to make light of the tensions while defending his position.
“We are a staunch advocate for our customers’ privacy and personal safety, and we’ve been in the news a bit about that,” Cook said to applause and laughter. “We do these [things] because these are the right things to do. Being hard doesn’t scare us.”
Nor does it scare investors, who instead raised questions about Apple’s enterprise sales, greenhouse gas emissions and how to use Apple Music.
“There may be some business implications, short-term hopefully,” said Gousha, the San Jose business consultant. “I’m a long-term investor.”
Karina Dundurs, 60 years old, of San Jose said: “Just because it’s a business doesn’t mean it doesn’t have an obligation to be ethical.”
Addressing Cook from the audience, Jackson, the famed civil rights leader, compared Apple’s current struggle to fights against McCarthyism in the 1950s or blowback against the Federal Bureau of Investigation for tapping Martin Luther King’s phone.
“We want to appeal to you in this critical hour to not grow weary of well doing,” Jackson said. “You are a man of integrity and character and we applaud your leadership.
Of course, not all was hunky dory at Apple’s annual retreat.
Jackson also was on hand to push a shareholder resolution that would require the board to adopt an “accelerated recruitment policy” to increase diversity among senior management and board of directors.
Shareholders, with the recommendation of Apple’s board, voted that proposal down 94.9% to 5.1%, according to an early tally. Cook afterward said, “there’s much more work to do on diversity across the company. I can commit to you we are working very hard on it.”
One investor also asked about repeated reports that Apple is working on an electric car as it gobbles up staff from established automakers. Many view it as an expensive, if tantalizing, moonshot.
Cook compared the status of that project, which he has never publicly confirmed nor denied, to the day before Christmas when kids are looking at unopened gifts under the tree.
“It’s going to be Christmas Eve for a while,” Cook said.

Mignolet made some fine saves either side of that mistake but, unfortunately for him, they will quickly be forgotten in the context of the one he let through his arms.
Ahead early in the second half, City should probably have been spared extra time but for some poor officiating and their own wastefulness given the number of chances they passed up to make it 2-0. Raheem Sterling had a difficult day against his former club and turned the ball wide with two golden opportunities, the first from six yards out, and there was another reprieve for Liverpool when Agüero ran into the penalty area and Alberto Moreno flicked out his leg to bring him down. It was a clear penalty and the referee Michael Oliver’s decision to wave play on was bewildering, to say the least, with potentially serious ramifications for City when Coutinho equalised in the 83rd minute with Liverpool’s first shot on target.
Until that point Liverpool had seen plenty of the ball without making enough use of it to examine whether Caballero might be vulnerable. Pellegrini had stayed true to his word – “I’d rather lose a final than my word,” he said afterwards – and resisted any temptation to bring Hart into his team but Liverpool threatened only sporadically in the opening hour and Vincent Kompany’s considerable presence helped to ensure Caballero was well protected for the most part. Coutinho’s goal came on the rebound, after two of the substitutes had linked up and Lallana turned Divock Origi’s low cross against the post, but Kompany was excellent and Caballero’s fine work was not all reserved to the shootout. In extra time, there was a key save from Origi’s header.
Midway through the opening half Liverpool had lost Mamadou Sakho, replaced by Kolo Touré after clashing heads with Can and clearly distraught that the club’s medical staff would not let him play on. That meant Touré teaming up with Lucas in the centre of Liverpool’s defence and if that gave their back four a slightly vulnerable look there was only one moment in the first half when City put together a move that exposed their opponents. On that occasion Mignolet turned Agüero’s shot against the post. It was one of several fine saves but that is part of the Mignolet conundrum – outstanding at times but far too error-prone.
Four minutes into the second half City had the ball on the left when David Silva lofted a long, crossfield pass over to Agüero on the opposite side. Agüero held up play, waiting for Fernandinho to overlap on the right and there did not seem to be a great deal of danger for Mignolet when the shot came in. Fernandinho made a clean connection but the ball was not struck with venomous pace and the Brazilian was taking aim from a difficult angle.
Mignolet appeared to have it covered but the shot somehow found a gap, somewhere between his knees and gloves, that should not have existed. The collective groan from Liverpool’s supporters when the mistake was replayed on the large screens told the rest of the story.
In fairness to Mignolet, he did not let it affect him throughout the rest of the match, denying the impressive Yaya Touré a winner approaching the 90th -minute mark and keeping out Agüero when the Argentinian burst through in the first period of extra time. Agüero was a constant menace, with Fernandinho excelling in his new position on the right, but City were starting to look ragged in the final quarter of an hour.
They might still have spared themselves a nerve-shredding finale if Agüero had been able to turn James Milner’s misplaced header beyond Mignolet but it went to a contest from 12 yards, three saved penalties, Liverpool’s first shootout defeat in six finals when it has reached that stage – and Caballero’s finest moments in City’s colours.

Manchester United managed to find a way past Shrewsbury and FC Midtjylland but what chance do they have against Arsenal? More than you might think. It's the results against the lesser lights that have wrecked Louis van Gaal's season, writes Adam Bate...
The last time Manchester United faced Arsenal was one of the more chastening experiences that Louis van Gaal's men have endured this season - and there's been some stiff competition. Three goals down inside 20 minutes, United were utterly overwhelmed.
And yet, that 3-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium is the exception rather than the rule when it comes to games against the bigger teams. For all the pressure he finds himself under, the curious truth about Van Gaal this season is that his record against the best is not the issue.
In fact, the defeat at Arsenal is United's only reverse against a top-four side. They're yet to concede against Tottenham or Manchester City, while only the Gunners fared better at Leicester. Van Gaal has also done the double over Liverpool for a second successive season.
It's not been particularly pretty, but these are not the results that are holding United back. For context, in United's most recent Premier League title-winning season - Sir Alex Ferguson's final one at the helm - the results against their rivals were actually inferior.
Not only did United lose at home to Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham, but they were also beaten at Everton on the opening weekend of the season. It meant that Ferguson took only 14 points from his 10 matches against other members of the top six in 2012-13.
The marked difference came in United's dealings with the bottom half of the table. Incredibly, Ferguson's United took maximum points home and away against every single team from twelfth down - 18 wins out of 18. It was a ruthlessly efficient performance.
The contrast with Van Gaal's United is stark. As well as the home defeat to Norwich, his team has been beaten at Bournemouth, Swansea and Sunderland. Remarkably, no other team in the Premier League - Aston Villa included - has lost four times to the bottom six.
So is it bad luck or bad tactics? Van Gaal might point to Murphy's Law but United's passivity is a problem. There is talk of playing a 'positional game' but the cautious approach is proving particularly counter-productive against inferior opposition.
Van Gaal's search for controlled football is having the opposite effect. Reducing the number of opportunities for both teams makes control an illusion and increases the possibility of the other side taking what few chances there are. Everyone is in the game against United.
That's literally the case when so many matches remain goalless into the second half. Jesse Lingard's opener against Stoke this month was the first they'd scored before the break in a Premier League game at Old Trafford since September.
There had been seven games in between. Although some seek to explain this by talking of a lost aura, it's not necessarily about what the opposition are doing. More likely, it's about what United are not doing. Not enough overlaps, not enough intensity and not enough ambition. It's proving costly.
Indeed, an examination of what the Premier League table would look like without these slip ups against the bottom six highlights the significance of them. Only leaders Leicester have picked up more points-per-game than United once these results are excluded.
In other words, Van Gaal's United have a better record against the better teams than both Arsenal and Manchester City. Had they matched even the worst record of the four teams above them against the bottom six, Van Gaal's men would have 50 points - three off top.
All of which is bad news for any Arsenal supporters assuming they can travel to Old Trafford on Sunday expecting victory. Don't be too shocked if Van Gaal comes up with something. As for those May fixtures against Norwich and Bournemouth, that might be a different story.

Football:Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger cools favourites talk ahead of Man Utd game
Arsene Wenger admits he is relishing Arsenal's "special" clash against rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Super Sunday.
Title-chasing Arsenal face United on Sunday lunchtime, live on Sky Sports 1, looking to make it three league wins in a row, after last weekend's goalless FA Cup draw against Hull was followed by a 2-0 midweek Champions League loss to Barcelona.
Arsenal head into the encounter as favourites for a league game at Old Trafford for the first time in the Premier League era but Wenger insists his only focus is how his side performs on the day.
"Man Utd is a big club and Old Trafford is a special place," the Arsenal manager told reporters at his pre-match news conference.
"I believe for every club it remains a special fixture but for me favourites has no special meaning, it's opinions.
"Results are down to performances and reality and that's what we focus on. Favourites is just good for talk."
The Gunners go into the weekend just two points behind leaders Leicester, but with an FA Cup replay and the return leg against Barcelona to come, Wenger's men face a run of seven games in 22 days.
"It is the key period," said the Frenchman. "We work the whole season for this period and that's where you're really tested but it's where you have an opportunity to show your quality as well.
"On that front, I agree that it is the most interesting period of the season. It's a period of the season where you can show quality, nerves and desire as well.
"Everybody drops points. It is unpredictable. We have rebuilt a good run in the Premier League and we need to continue that. We need to get over the disappointment of the result in the Champions League.
"We need to focus on the Premier League where we have a big part to play. How many points that will be needed, we don't know. Let's not set any limit on the number of points we can get."
Despite a title drought of 12 years, Wenger's position as manager does not appear to be under any threat in sharp contrast to United counterpart Louis van Gaal, who has faced scrutiny for much of the season.
Van Gaal's side have won just two of their last six Premier League games and were thoroughly outplayed in a 3-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium in October.
"I do not want to speak too much about Man United because we are more focused on us and preparing for an important game. Of course Van Gaal has my respect and my sympathy," he added.
"What can you do? Not a lot but do your job and use your potential of resistance to stress and focus on your job."

Google announced that it has developed a new neural network which it calls as PlaNet. It can determine the location of almost any image. Image location is determined only if you have enabled Geo-Tagging in the camera settings. Also, in future Google may not require Geo Tagging Details in order to know where the image was captured.

PlaNet examines the pixels in Images and after that it cross reference’s images with the millions of images present in its database and then check its resemblances. Neural Network utilizes about 377MB space, which is not a problem for Google.
Initially it was tested with over 2.3 Million Images and this new AI was effective in determining the country of the image within accuracy of 28.4 percent. Amazingly, it can determine the Continent of image with accuracy of 48 percent.
PlaNet is also effective in determining the location of nearly 3.6 percent of images at Street Level Accuracy while as it has 10.1 percent accuracy in determining city level images. PlaNet isn’t fully accurate yet, but Google is working to make it better day by day.

“All lives matter” arose as “black lives matter” gained viral popularity and is viewed by many as an implicit rebuke to the movement.
“Not just all lives. Black lives. Please do not change the conversation by talking about how your life matters, too. It does, but we need less watered down unity and a more active solidarities with us, Black people, unwaveringly, in defense of our humanity,” Garza wrote in 2014.
Like much of the tech industry, Facebook’s workforce is overwhelmingly white and male. Of the company’s nearly 5,500 employees, only 81 are black, according to its most recent diversity report.
In July 2015, Maxine Williams, Facebook’s global director of diversity, wrote that the company’s diversity programs had achieved “positive but modest change”.
Among the initiatives Facebook has put in place are a requirement that hiring managers consider at least one candidate from underrepresented groups to fill any open position and a company training program designed to ensure “an inclusive culture that can truly support diversity”, called Managing Bias.
In his post, Zuckerberg encouraged employees to participate in a company “town hall” meeting scheduled for 4 March “to educate themselves about what the Black Lives Matter movement is about”.

Movie:LEONARDO DICAPRIO’S OSCARS ACCEPTANCE SPEECH HAS ‘LEAKED’
Somewhere in the world (likely aboard a yacht off the coast of a tropical island, with a gaggle of models within arm’s length) Leonardo DiCaprio is prepping his Oscars acceptance speech.
At least, we can only assume that’s what he’s doing, because Leo can’t claim being caught off-guard for his presumed win for The Revenant. Giving one of those “Oh wow, this is so unexpected; I had nothing rehearsed!” spiels would just be poor form for a dude who’s largely (and rightfully) favored to win. He earned that statue. He bled for that statue. He grunted and crawled his way across a frozen tundra for that statue, all while holing up inside dead animals and eating raw bison meat and doing mental voodoo on Tom Hardy. Just give him the statue, dammit.
Naturally, everyone’s chomping at the bit to find out what Leo’s going to say during his acceptance speech, should he emerge victorious. Will he thank his BFF Kate Winslet? Will he just scream “I’M THE KING OF THE WORLD!” in pure triumph (or did James Cameron already ruin that chance?)?
